Vikram Solar unveils 660 W bifacial solar modules

Absolutely ridiculous. I’m a panel installer. The panel dimensions now are already to big to handle comfortably, never mind to fit a decent quantity on most domestic rooftops, So what do manufacturers do??? Make bigger one that weigh over twice as much putting more load on roof structures and not even considering how these 8ft sails are to be handled safely by workers. Increasing efficiency is key, not the physical dimensions. All this will do is increase labour prices for installations driving demand for solar right down as we will need cranes to manage them without crippling our backs. Good luck with that because I definitely won't buy nor offer a product that size for domestic nor commercial.
