Solar

This is a sailboat. The solar/H2 system won't make .1% of the power used, lucky to make enough for the cabin, lights and electronics, other house loads . Fact is using the prop as a turbine to produce power/regeneration, from sailing speed works 24-7 at far higher rates. Likewise a wind generator on the transom would be another great way. As a solar sailor the mast, sails, rigging shading and lack of good solar angles means lucky to get 2x peak power/day. BTDT, now use masts that come down, to not shade the solar. The H2 system is only 25% efficient so cuts effective solar output even more. A 100kwh battery pack would easily replace the H2 system at 10% of the cost and 90% efficiency.
